Help is a Call Away

After a Hömé visit , I was sitting down at the void deck and just waiting for a grabshare car to come. Suddenly, a voice called out to me to ask me : " Can I borrow your phone to call my mum?" . Looking up, I saw that it was a girl perhaps in her secondary school years and she was trying to search for her tuition teacher. She just didn't have a handphone with her.

Without hesitation, I keyed in the number for her and lent her the phone to speak to her mum. Her mum did not pick up and we ended up having to call her Hömé number. Thereafter, she had to make one last call to her tuition teacher who was supposed to meet her here. Just as we were making the last call, her tuition teacher turned up.

She thanked me and left. Interesting place for an act of kindness to be shared. No matter where we are, sometimes when there is an opportunity to make someone else happy, seize that opportunity!
